Unmasked Neurodiversity Network CIC is a neurodivergent-led, trauma-informed organisation supporting neurodivergent adults, families, and communities across Leeds.
We were created in response to gaps in traditional mental health and support services, where neurodivergent people are often misunderstood, overlooked, or expected to adapt to systems that do not work for them.
Unlike generic counselling services or student-led provision, Unmasked is shaped by people with lived experience of neurodivergence.
Our team understands the impact of late diagnosis, masking, burnout, trauma, and sensory and executive functioning challenges- not just in theory, but in real life.
We offer more than counselling alone. Our model combines emotional support, practical guidance, and community connection, recognising that wellbeing does not exist in isolation.

“Our mission is simple: to empower neurodivergent people and their families through support, counselling, and community. We believe in:
Creating spaces where lived experience is valued
Reducing stigma and isolation
Promoting understanding through training and advocacy
Building a more inclusive future for all”

At Unmasked Neurodiversity Network CIC, everything we do is shaped by our values.
They guide how we connect, create, and care — for ourselves, each other, and our community.

“Unmasked is led by a team of trained counsellors, lived-experience advocates, and passionate volunteers. Each of us brings a unique perspective, but together we share one goal — to support and empower our community.
